Hello ANSA friends,
Believe it or not, the ANSA trails are fun even without snow on them - I know, it's hard to imagine!
The trails surfaces are generally firm especially after last season's drainage work, great for walking or trail running. We keep the field mowed up the middle and the trails in the woods are mowed periodically by Lost Valley. Snowshoe trails are open for the more adventurous.
Feel free to park in the usual ANSA lot. Dogs are welcome. Ticks? Of course there are - it's Maine! - but the mowing means you're not swishing through tall grass.
Mountain bikes are allowed although it's not exactly single track, but fun for a more casual ride, and great for young riders.
See you out there,
Bruce
