Grooming and conditions

Skate lanes in the field and a few surrounding trails were groomed this morning.  Snow should soften as temps warm in the afternoon.

In this winder that continues to try our patience and dash our hopes, we still have skiing. Groomers smoothed some lanes, but cover is too thin for setting tracks.

Please please send all your snowy thoughts to the weather coming our way tonight. If we get a couple inches, we’ll groom tomorrow morning. If less, we’ll leave for fresh fluffy enjoyment. 

Snow is getting a little thin out there, and sadly it doesn’t look like much heading our way this week. There are some thin spots, but it’s  remarkable how good the cover is for the winter we’ve had. 

No grooming this weekend as we cross our fingers that our base holds up over this warm weekend.

Groomers are out now creating corduroy and setting fresh tracks, now that our base has finally frozen with 3-4” of fluff on top.  Skiing should be great this week with cold nights and mild days.  We’ll touch up here and there as the week goes leading up to another nice weekend.

Snowshoers are enjoying the trails which are well marked and easy to follow.
