Grooming and conditions

Actually 13”!  Wow. It’s a Nordic skier’s dream come true. 
 

After the best early December skiing we’ve had in a while, we’re back to doing our snow dances and watching for the next snow.

All trails were groomed last evening after temps cooled, and we were able to set tracks throughout the system - shallow in places but pretty darned good for early season skiing. Enjoy!

The sease is officially underway!

Sighhhhhhh….. I admit it’s hard not to get a little excited about spring, but I sure will miss that sweet silky feeling of gliding across snow on skis. There’s nothing like it.

With the past two days’ wind and cold behind us, we’ll resume grooming today to soften up the boiler plate crust into skiable fun.  We’ll focus more on quality than quantity and open 

Boo for rain. Our trails are now frozen solid, and we’ll need to wait for them to warm up a bit before we can groom them back to skiable condition.
